Teddington Cricket Club Pavilion

Players and supporters can watch games in comfort at a new cricket pavilion constructed using the TEK Building System of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)

First formed in the 1820s, Teddington Cricket Club has a long and illustrious history with its Bushy Park ground recognised as the birthplace of the modern game of field hockey. The existing pavilion was constructed in 1947 from two Nissen Huts, remnants of the second world war US encampment within the Park. Its facilities were no longer fit for purpose with only two changing rooms available and the building in a constant state of maintenance.

The club asked Reeds Watts to design a modern pavilion which blends comfortably within the natural surroundings and achieves a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. The firm’s attractive response features stained Siberian Larch cladding and a green roof along with greatly improved facilities.
